Occupy Oakland has brought up the issue of a city-wide general strike to take place November 2nd. This comes after the intense confrontation between police and protesters which included the use of tear gas and flash bang grenades. One of the most notable results of this was the severe head injury of Scott Olsen, a middle eastern war veteran.
